Powder Coated Aluminum
Our Aluminum Screens are made from lightweight, tough, rust free aluminum with a powder coated finish. You can choose your colour from our shop or if you have a specific colour in mind please let us know as likely we can supply it.
The panels are 3mm thick suitable for indoor and outdoor use with a variety of applications. We also offer a 5mm thick option for commercial projects such as building facades.
Our Screens are easy to install and designed for both trade and DIY projects. As the screens are made from powder coated aluminium, they require very little ongoing maintenance.
When installing the screens, we recommend fixing points at approximately 600mm spacing around the perimeter or the screen. This will help reduce flex across the panel. We take extreme pride in our work and as such all our powder coated screens have had the edges dressed.
Flat or Folded Edge
We offer a flat screen for decorative purposes such as wall hangings or partitions.
For fence infill panels we recommend using a folded edge which adds strength to the panel but also assists in easier fixing and anchoring.
Weathering Steel (Corten)
Corten Steel is a high strength weathering steel which forms a stable, attractive rust-like appearance when exposed to weather. The steel is 3mm or 5mm thick, suitable for indoor and outdoor use with a variety of applications.
Our Decorative Screens are easy to install and designed for both trade and DIY projects. Unlike most metals, Corten or weathering steel is designed to form a rust exterior effect when exposed to the elements.
A layer of rust forms on the outer surface and acts as a protective coating. The colour and extent of the rust effect depends on the elements it is exposed to, and will vary from panel to panel.
Aluminium composite
Panels come in 3mm thick and has a three layer composite structure. The top and bottom layers are covered with Aluminium sheet and have a thickness 0.30mm.
The central core is low density polyethylene. Sheets also have an easy peel off protective film (which you should remove after installing) and it is available in a vast range of colours.
Aluminium composite is suitable for wall hangings and partitions, it is not as strong as aluminium and not recommended for other uses. It is very light and easy to maintain.
